Helme Heine is an exceptionally gifted artist and quickly won the hearts of his readers by creating famous characters such as "Friends", Schwein Schwarte" and the well-known dragon "Tabaluga". To this day, he has sold more than 40 million children's books and was awarded with several international prizes. 
However, Heine is not only a remarkable artist but also a very talented product designer.

He is now finding his way into the world of licensing and an extensive range of stationary products has already been published by the Heye Verlag. In 2003, Heine presented his first bedding- and terry clothing programme. Furthermore, six audio plays including "Drei Freunde", "Franz von Hahn", "Johnny Mauser" and "Dicken Waldemar" have been published within recent years.
